The Arkena network is not like most small networks. we are not using some shared host with low amounts of RAM and stupidly slow CPU's.
We are running a proper server. a HP DL380 G6 to be precise which is currently hosted by our owner Rich in the US. We gave it a name of
- 2x Intel Xeon X5560 Quad cores
- 72Gb of RAM
- 3Tb of RAID storage
- XenServer as our main Hypervisor with multiple VM's running CentOS for superb stability.
The forums are run on a different server which is hosted in the UK by our resident tech guru adamxp12. it is a HP DL380 G7 named
- 2x Intel Xeon E5620 Quad cores
- 32Gb of RAM
- 633Gb of RAID storage
- A CentOS VM running ontop Hyper-v 2016
The website is hosted in the cloud (ooh scary) on an Azure VM which we named
Jorgjensen so we dont have exact specs but we know the following
- 1 vCPU
- 1Gb of RAM
- 32Gb of Storage
